At Platts we run our own fleet of commercial vehicles. Look out for our hard-to-miss lorries delivering bedding all over the UK!
We have a range of Rigid 8 wheeler, and Articulated vehicles, to accommodate varying load sizes. A rigid load is 14 or 16 pallets and an artic load is 24 or 26 pallets. Bulk deliveries are transported on an articulated moving-floor vehicle- and usually average between 22-24 tonnes. All bulk loads are weighed using our on-site weighbridge for accurate invoicing.
Our rigid drivers can unload your delivery using their truck-mounted Moffett for no additional charge if you don’t have your own unloading facility. Just let the transport team know when you place your order.
All our HGV vehicles are also equipped with TomTom live time trackers, so we are able to give you accurate location information and ETA’s – meaning you won’t have to wait around for us to arrive!

As well as the whole of the UK, our products are available in bales and in bulk, delivered throughout Ireland, through a network of distributors as well as direct for larger loads.
